Plastic Bag Free - Greener upon Thames
Greener upon Thames is working hard to unite local residents to make our borough the cleanest in the UK. With groups across the UK represented, students from local universities and local residents of all ages participating, we hope to let the government know that it's time to take action against plastic bags. Ultimately we'd love an outright ban - but will take a LEVY to get the message out! Plastic bags are smothering our beautiful planet & it's time to make them extinct!
Plastic bags may be the tip of the iceberg in terms of the world's environmental issues - but it is the simplest campaign we can all participate in! Bring your own bags when you go shopping and SAY NO TO PLASTIC BAGS!

We the undersigned act in order to make our world a greener place. By simply bringing our own shopping bags when we go out - we save the world a little bit at a time. It's time we gave up our dependency on plastic bags and took responsibility to end their prodcution and use. Give up plastic bags and help clean up our world! It's so easy to do!
