1st time home buyer credit extention

Target:
Senate Commitee
According to the US Senate website, Bill (S.1678) has been introduced to extend the First time home buyer tax credit until June 2010. But it seems the Senate Committee is stalling bringing this bill to the floor for a vote leaving countless Americans shut out in the cold that are in the midst of qualifying for a 1st home. Please let the Senate Committee know it's time to put all hard working American's first over their vacation plans.

We just recently purchased our new home in September of this year, as of right now we are inelligible for the 1st time buyer's credit. We feel that this should be extended to all lower income families as we basically traded up by using the equity in our previous home we purchased 3 yrs ago, making us the odd guys out. too much income for assistance, too little to eat steak. Help us out Senate

I have been in the process of qualifing for my 1st home and the mortgage company is so back up with people rushing to qualify for the 12/01 deadline that I may miss the qualification date and will end up losing out on $8000.00. I can't help but think there will be thousands of other hard working people in my position come Christmas time this year...Out $8000.00 because the Senate is going to let this bill die.
