Isuzu Motors of America needs to provide a recall for the Fuel Sensor Unit on 2001 Rodeo's. There are hundreds of online complaints regarding this issue. Repair costs are more that $500 to get this repaired.
Isuzu Motors of America needs to provide a recall for the Fuel Sensor Unit on 2001 Rodeo's. There are hundreds of online complaints regarding this issue. Repair costs are more that $500 to get this repaired.
We, the undersigned, are requesting a recall to be issued on the 2001 Isuzu Rodeo for the problem with the defective Fuel Sensor Unit. This defect causes the fuel gage to work improperly as well as causing the Check Engine Light to come on. Repairs are costly based on the need to repair the whole fuel pump because of this. Thank you for your time.

I agree the Fuel sensor issue needs to be addressed by Isuzu. I have a 2001 Rodeo Sport with 60.000 miles the fuel sensor giving erratic readings. this started several months ago and the dealer wants @ $600 to change the sensor and fuel pump. Dealer said as long as the gas tank is removed from the car it need to be changed too.

I have had my 1999 rodeo replaced once for fuel level sensor problem and it needs another fuel pump for the same reason. Been driving three years by fuel mileage hoping that isuzu would do the right thing and engineer a fix to this problem and have a recall!

The mere evidence that several people are dealing with the SAME fuel sensor problem I have with my 2001 Isuzu is indicative of the need for a dealer recall!

I have talked to 3 other owners of the 2001 Rodeo and they have all had the same problem. If Izuzu wants anymore business from me or others like those of us who have signed the petition...they best recall for this defect!!!
