Cancel the prohibition of feeding stray cats in Ariel University Center of Samaria campuses

It was recently brought to our attention that the management of Ariel University Center of Samaria, has issued a directive, applying to all staff and students, prohibiting them to feed stray cats living on the territory of campuses. The meaning of this directive is, obviously, a death sentence for the cats, death by starvation.

We treat this prohibition as a form of animal abuse. Cats are territorial animals and preventing them from being fed will result in them suffer and starve to death.

Unfortunately, all appeals to the University Center made by animal welfare organizations and animal rights activists were not successful in opening a dialogue with the university management.

We therefore urge caring citizens and animal lovers to protest and join the public campaign against the prohibition on feeding cats on the Ariel University Center of Samaria campuses.

Please demand of the institute's management to:

* Cancel the prohibition immediately
* To allot a special budget for a TNR program for the campus cats

We urge you to sign the petition and share it with your friends.
