3 Year Plan to CAI Best Practices-Harbor Place

Target:
Harbor Place condo owners

hree year transitional plan to meet the CAI Best Practices standards

This is a proposal for a three year transitional plan to meet the CAI Best Practices standards. These standards cover both operational and financial considerations.   This is the national trade association that has certified Stephen Dinocco as a property management professional. An brief outline of the standards is at this webpage (http://www.fairlington.org/caibestpractices.htm  ).  There are many areas where we currently do NOT meet these standards.  The letter from our current accountants confirms the situation that we are NOT in compliance with these standards and that we are NOT being provided sufficient financial information to make decisions in an informed manner.  It is up to the Board and the owners to insist on this transition which is in the best interests of all condo investors.  This summary is for the Board August 12, 2009 meeting.  Only Harbor Place condo owners should sign this petition.  Best regards, Norton West, Harborplace condo Board member

my name is chris and i am new to condo living. i think it would be healthy to look into how and where our money goes. we should also govern ourselves according to the laws and regulations that are in place to protect our interests.
