"4" Sergeant's Buddy's Glow Ball" Keep this dog toy on the market!
Sergeant's Pet Co. has decided to discontinue the dog toy "4" Buddy's Glow Ball". If your dog is as happy & satisfied with this toy as mine are please sign this petition to bring this toy back & keep it on the market.
Buddy's Glow Ball replacement is a ball called Powzer (I've noticed it also seems to be called 'Zoink' in some store - though they are both the same toy.) This 'new' toy didn't last my dogs four hours. The 4" Buddy's Glow ball will last my male GSD four to six months. Big difference! The material the Powzer/Zoink toy is built with is a fraction of the thickness of the Buddy's Glow Ball. I'm not wanting to knock the new toy Powzer/Zoink off the shelves, I just wish the company would keep the Buddy's Glow Ball on the market. It's a good toy at a good price. We the dog owners (some of us loyal to this toy) should have the choice between the two rather then be forced into a cheap unworthy replacement. We have already asked the company via phone if they would bring this toy back. We asked if a petition full of signatures would help, they said for me to go ahead with it. My goal is to get at least 2500 signatures to show them how many fans there are of this toy.
Please sign, there aren't enough decent toys at a decent price on the market. Don't let this one disappear forever. Help me to keep it on the market.

I've been buying 4-6 of these a year for my 3 dogs - there's nothing they enjoy more. 'The Boys' will choose a Glow Ball over a tennis ball in the daylight.
I have no doubt that I would continue to buy 4-6 a year for as long as I can still throw a ball to a dog.
I began purchasing these balls for dog, Sadie, just after adopting her from the Humane Society. She had never played fetch before and at 9 months old she finally figured out how to have fun. The Buddy Ball is her favorite and is not interested in other balls.

We have purchased 6-8 of these balls over the last 5 years and it's Sadie's favorite inside toy. She loves playing "balls in the hall" or just catch. We usually have to have more than two going for her because Blu always has to get one too and at least follow Sadie around.

I have a black lab named Buddy. He must think the ball was personalized for him. He loves the Buddy Ball and will not let it out of his sight. Labs generally have a good appetite, but Buddy will choose fetch with his Buddy Ball vs. a dish of his favorite food if given the choice. The toy is well constructed and withstands a lot of punishment. However, Buddy is persistent and able to pierce the thick skin over a period of time. Buddy and I would appreciate the opportunity to purchase Buddy Balls again.

I have purchased the Buddy Glow ball before. My goldens love them! They have two large ones and two small ones. As a matter of fact, we bought the two small ones today at the local Petsmart. I was thrilled to find them. The two I bought were the only ones I saw on display.
I would most definitely buy this toy again. My dogs love them because they are smooth, fit in their mouths easily and, most importantly, glow in the dark! Goldens would play ball 24/7 if their owners would allow it. Please don't take Buddy Glow Balls off the market.

I have looked in 3 states for this ball. Our Jack Russel Terrior loves this toy. While the colored balls are fun in the summer it becomes a different story in the cold weather. The ball becomes hard, unlike the glow ball, and it is virtually impossible to kick it. We have three glow balls and 5 colored balls. The three glow balls are Maggies pick each time she goes into the yard to play. Even the flat ones are chosen over the colored balls.

I have 2 goldens and a min pin. They just love their large and small buddy glow balls. They have been working on them for about 5 years. And still look new. I have been trying to find some more. I have an English Mastiff. The 4" Sergeant's Buddy Glow Ball is the only toy that seems to survive my dog. It's very durable and lasts quite a while. We're down to our last glow ball and my dog won't have anything left to play with once the remaining ball wears out.

We have purchased several Buddy Glow Balls in the past for our Chocolate Lab. We noticed that we were no longer able to find them at PetSmart and started looking on line where we were informed that these balls were discontinued. The replacement does not appear to have the same texture as the Buddy Glow Ball and does not appear to be the same size. We are interested in purchasing additional Buddy Glow Balls if available.

Since I bought this product I have suggested it to virtually every labrador and fetch-loving dog owner I've met. I was genuinely glad to plug this toy but disappointed that even so, no one could have found it. As a dog toy company I think you owe it to your customers (dogs) to bring this product back with the quality that made it a keeper! Please!
I would buy multiples of this product in a heartbeat. You really can't understand until you see how the dog interacts with it vs other toys (even similar glow-balls), not to mention the durability expressed by other owners.
