I believe it would be extremely beneficial to legalize Marijuana as it would boost the economy, lower health care costs, lessen the amount of harmful prescription drugs in use, and keep people from being thrown in jail that should never be there in the first place. We spend so much money to suppress this stuff, and toss smokers in jail when we should be spending it on more important things such as putting away murderers, rapists, and those who would actually do harm to others. This is a natural substance... not man made! What next? Tell us that trees are illegal too? We need those to breath!

I am a Woman and Mother & Grandmother, I use marijuana too help me sleep, and works wonders, this "issue" over the "Decriminalization" of marijuana is getting OLD, the Government KNOWS that marijuana is NOT a "gateway" drug..NO, a person is NOT destined too become an "addict" just from smoking marijuana, and "Shame" be upon those who, when I was growing up in late 60's into 70's, preaching that "if" a person smokes pot, they are bound to become heroine addicts..!! It is the FACT that it is "Illegal", and their are very bad people out here who use marijuana as a way too slowly give people who "pay" too smoke..the bad people then wanna make more money off people so they offer hardcore DRUGS..((not a natural substance such a marijuana)), WE need too re-educate our children and ourselves about marijuana. Thank you! I truly believe it would be a very POSITIVE action too decriminalize, if not make LEGAL, there are so many benefits too this plant; marijuana, we MUST stop and look at the BIG picture of the benefits that would come about from changing the status of marijuana! |
