'Work It' makes a mockery of transgender peoples struggles in the work place and empowers those with dormant transphobia to act on those urges with violence.
It reinforces the biased stereotypical misogynistic social constructs that transsexuals are not "real" people and therefore of no worth.

Currently the president of ABC Paul Lee takes no responsibilities for the damaging effects of "Work It" even as he acknowledges the reasons for the public outcry against it. In fact he

laughs at our suffering even though as an intelligent man he undoubtly understands how “Work It” would contribute to transgender discrimination and murders.

We the undersigned ask you not to air the sitcom "Work It".

Mr Lee, If you choose to continue  ignoring the public outcry against "Work It"  your network will contribute directly in enhancing and promoting discrimination against transgender peoples.

Do not air this travesty. If it truly is in your contract to produce one 'cross dressing show a year' as you say, why don't you lead ABC to the very pinnacle of broadcasting and pick up Gun Hill Road for instance?

That I could guarantee you would be a smash hit and if done tastefully might even make you and I both 'cackle', cry, shout for joy and wait impatiently for the next episode.

The choice is simple Mr. Lee and  I hope you choose to act Responsibly.
