We are looking for residents of Aldea Homes who support the creation of an enclosed dog park in our community to allow for the exercise and socialization of dogs in an off-leash environment. We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to create dog friendly space in Aldea Homes.

We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens of Aldea Homes who want to work together with our community leaders to create dog friendly space in the community of Aldea Homes. We are requesting that the CommunityMembers initiate a site located at the Catania Drive park area within Aldea Homes to be used for an enclosed dog park. We believe that a dog park is needed in Aldea Homes as there is currently no space for dogs to run legally and safely off-leash.

A dog park would benefit dogs, people and the Community in many ways including:

Providing a safe and controlled environment for dogs to exercise resulting in reduced aggression and improved socialization.

Provides our citizens in this cumminity that are without significant yard space with a place for their dogs to obtain the exercise needed.

Provides an outlet for dog owners to socialize.

Increases the Cummunities appeal.

Promotes responsible dog ownership and encourages dog licensing.

I fully support having a dog park--I have spent many happy hours with my dogs in dog parks in Los Angeles and also took dogs there that I was petsitting when with a petsitting agency--All the dogs loved it!!It's heartwarming to see them socializing and enjoying the park!!I hope you are successful in your quest for your own dog park for residents of Aldea Homes

I believe an enclosed dog park would add safety to the non-dog owning residents, as well as a controlled environment for dogs to play and train.

We have two Bassett Hounds.

Having a dog park in our community should leave our common areas free of animal litter. Placing of dog waste bags and trash cans in park area will help promote cleaning of area after owners animals.
