The Assyrian Rights

Congratulations on your victory, and good luck on your term in office. On that note, there is something that has been happening during the Bush administration that the Assyrians in Diaspora are not pleased with. What is upsetting the Assyrians is the fact that they are not mentioned in the constitution of  the so called "New Iraq". This shows that the Assyrians are currently being oppressed. Furthermore, America is a nation known for helping the oppressed; why isn't America helping the Assyrians? With all due respect, if the Iraqi Constitution does not represent the Assyrians as a Nation in Iraq, how can Iraq ever truly be a democracy? It is also worth noting, that the Assyrians, when called to show their patriotism to America, and its allies, always rose to the occasion, giving even more reason for U.S. support. In conclusion, helping the Assyrians, would help build a stronger relationship between America and the Assyrians, and can strengthen relationships between the U.S. and Iraq as a result. Please see to it that the Assyrians do not remain in the shadow of Iraq. Thank you for your time.
