Support Public Art for Atlantas Beltline
We the undersigned voters and citizens of the City of Atlanta believe in the positive and transformational power of well designed Public Spaces and Public Art.  Towards that end, we support the enforcement of the City of Atlantas Public Art Ordinance (ref.: 08-O-1884) which requires that the Atlanta Beltline, Inc. set aside the required 1.5% of the total amount of each bond issuance for public art.   Funds from this set aside, must be deposited in a restricted account to be used solely for Public Art Projects on the Atlanta Beltline.  As required by the ordinance, this set- aside shall be reported annually to the Atlanta City Council, the Atlanta Mayors Office and to the citizens of Atlanta.  Thank you for supporting Public Art in Atlanta and the Atlanta Beltline.

Help to support Public Art in the City of Atlanta by urging Atlanta's next mayor to require the Beltline, Inc. to follow the city's recently revised public art ordinance and set aside 1.5% of each Beltline Bond Issuance for Public Art.  Please sign our petition and come to the October 12th Mayoral Candidate's Forum on the Arts the to be held at the Woodruff Arts Center's Rich Auditorium.  This this year's election promises to be one of the closest on record-- so more than ever, the Atlanta Arts Community counts... Let your voice be heard!
