What is the Atlanta Community Benefits Jobs Policy?
The Atlanta Community Benefits Jobs Policy is a proposed change to the City of Atlanta%u2019s First Source Hiring Policy to strengthen the investment of your tax dollars in communities so that local residents are provided with jobs and sustainable workforce development.
Jobs and sustainable workforce development opportunities are one of the most important needs for City of Atlanta residents in today%u2019s economy particularly for the 35% of City residents have only obtained a high school diploma. The proposed policy will give residents access to both entry level and more skilled job opportunities
