Bruce is crossed between a Pitbull Type Terrier!As you may be aware... Pitbull Type Terriers are illegal in Northern Ireland! He got took away from me and my family on the 19th September 2007! He is such a beautiful dog with a lovely temperment!We miss him so much!We love him so much!We just want him back!He is innocent! He is on deahs row because of other people treating Pitbulls like discusting creatures! Putting them through pain by fighting them!The people who hurt dogs should be the ones on deaths row!!We have only seen Bruce once since he has been took away!He has a huge infected cut on his nose by trying to get out of the cage he has been locked in!He doesnt deserve this! We need your signatures to get Bruce home!!hes an illegal Pitbull type terrier but is innocent!!he has never bit or hurt anything in his life!he lives with my other dog Sam who is a Labrador type dog and my 3 year old nephew!!we just want him home!we miss him sooooo much!!!!
Please return Bruce to his family. It is the fault of irresponsible 'dog owners' (thugs more like) that give these fabulous dogs such a bad name and even worse press. Bruce has done nothing wrong except to be classed as a 'pit bull' through no fault of his own. So many of these poor creatures have little or no life, so please dont deprive this one of his chance of happiness and normality.

To outlaw a specific breed of dog is tantamount to racism. Saying all pit bulls are dangerous is like saying all blacks are criminals or all whites can't dance. These are stereotypes- grand generalizations based on ignorance. Is a pit bull genetically stronger than many dogs? Yes. But pre-disposed to violence? Utterly ricdiculous. All individuals, human and canine, are products of their upbringing. Treat a Yorkie badly, it will be a biter. Treat a pit bull well and it will be a virtual marshmallow. Stop blaming the dogs for the actions and/or inactions of their owners. How many people are maimed or killed in car accidents each year? Do you penalize the cars or the drivers? That a government can act so stupidly to quell the fears of an irrational minority of constituents is pathetic. What next- capture and kill all soccer fans because a few are hooligans? Stop generalizing. Penalize owners when specific instances of animal attacks occur. Don't blame the brush for the bad painting. Think before you react.
these dogs (pits included) get a bad rap because of a few bad dogs made bad by bad people. these are kindly animals. please let him return home to his family.
And they call themselves Law Enforcers??? What a joke. Things like this beggar belief - if the owners had let him get into the state he's now in under legal retention, no doubt they'd be convicted for Cruelty!! What a laughing stock the law and legislation is. Makes me sick. Just don't get it. There are thieves, murderers and rapists roaming the streets purely due to lack of evidence - they haven't been locked up on a "just incase" charge. It wouldn't be accepted........!!! Just really don't get how an animal can be treated this way.
Bruce has done nothing wrong, he deserves to be set free to his owners. He deserves a good loving home. I am the owner of an American Staffordshire Terrier and an American Pit Bull Terrier I know this breed is good it is how they are raised. With good positive training they made wonderful family pets. Bruce has been through enough, please release him. He does not deserve to go through this.
This dog has done nothing wrong! This is like imprisoning people just because they look dangerous! Animals should not have any fewer rights than people and should enjoy the basic freedom of life!
You can not blame an animal for the actions of people. every animal has the ability to be kind and gental. It all depends on the treatment they get from PEOPLE. LET BRUSE GO HOME!!!!!!

this is not fair! deed not breed! when i watched bruces video on utube i was in tears. this story is absolutely hearbreaking, i sincerely hope you manage to get bruce back home and that the kennels havent done too much damage to bruces kind nature - the people who have done this to him should be disgusted with themselves - they are the ones who want locking up!

This is one of the most assinine things I have ever heard of! This poor dog has done nothing wrong! How could you monsters condemn him to death? Free Bruce and give him back to his family! Also, strike this law from the books and start using your brains!
