We, the undersigned, come from all walks of life.  We are people of faith and small business owners; workers, union members, teachers, veterans, and families.  We come from different ethnicities, races, and immigrant backgrounds, but we are united by the urgent need to fix our broken immigration system.

 We want a system that respects families, workers, and communities, and honors the American Dream that brought us and our ancestors to this country.  Specifically, reform must:

• -Include a rational and humane approach to the undocumented population
• -Keep American families together and reduce immigration backlogs
• -Ensure appropriate ways for workers to come in legally in the future with full worker rights and labor protections
• -Allocate sufficient visas to close unlawful migration channels
• -Protect fundamental rights for all
• -Promote immigrant integration
