I will not be a Distracted Driving Enabler.

This is a pledge you're making to yourself, your loved ones, your friends, and strangers.  By making this pledge, you are signing your name to a promise that you will not exchange any text messages with anyone who's behind the wheel of a motor vehicle.

There are already online pledges not to text while driving, and you should sign one and adhere to it.  But this is a pledge for when you're not the driver.  When you text with someone who's driving, you are helping to make that person up to 23 times more likely to crash their vehicle.  And that doesn't put just their life at risk, but the lives of other people's innocent loved ones.  Why would you want to do that?  Instead, take this pledge.  And learn more at distraction.gov/faces/.
I promise I will not send any text messages to anyone operating a motor vehicle.

If I discover that someone I am texting with is behind the wheel of a motor vehicle, I promise I will immediately stop texting them and I will not resume texting with them until I am convinced they are no longer driving.
