Dear Honorable Chief Justice Legg,
I am signing this petition on the behalf of Emory Jones.
I have been made aware of all of the good acts that Emory Jones has done, while being incarcerated over the past nine and a half years, and how he has richly excelled in his rehabilitation. It is my full understanding and belief that he has spent his time of incarceration productively reassessing his life, and planning for his future as a productive law abiding citizen.
It is therefore, my wholehearted belief that given the opportunity, Emory would favorably reintegrate into society, and that his release would lend more to the benefit of the community. My hope is that we are a country with penalties that not only promotes punishment, but one that also advocates that which is fair and just based on rehabilitation.
For this reason, I am requesting that the court show leniency and grant the release of Emory Jones, as I am positive that his strong attributes will prove to cause him to be extremely valuable to society.

This petition was created by the Family and Loved Ones of Emory Jones. Emory Jones is a loving father, son, relative and friend. He has spent more than 9 1/2 years incarcerated, and is soon up for an appeal. It is our desire to gather as many signatures of support, and therefore have made this petition available to those who share in our passion for his release.
