Protect Yellowstone Grizzlies from being de-listed

Target:
Secretary Norton and the department of the Interior

Secretary Gale Norton feels that Grizzlies are thriving well in the Yellowstone Ecosystem and shoudl be removed from the Endangered Species list. These Bears still need protection and delisting them will only make them prone to illegal poaching and hunting, particularly if they wander outside the perimeter of the park. Please Sign this petition to keep them on the Endangered Species list.

Please Sign this petition to keep them on the Endangered Species list.

We the undersigned request that you keep the Grizzly Bear on the Endangered Species list. This will only make a key species subseptible to outside predation and illegal poaching and hunting, most in particular if they leave the perimeter of the park and immediate area.

Thank you in kind consideration

As soon as an animal is de-listed, the killing starts anew in greater numbers. Some people just can't get it through their heads that everything in this world was NOT placed here for human pleasure! To be a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves when there is injustice is the responsibility of any human with a compassionate heart.

Unfortunately, humans are the worst kind of predators. Most people still eat animals without any other reason than their seared flesh tastes good. I don't think it tastes good, in fact, it makes me retch! But the people who still continue to eat animals never even see the creature they consume, much less murder it themselves! Let's all go vegan!

The grizzlies or bears must not be left to be targeted by poachers and other heartless peoples greed for profit. The grizzlies are not in the way of people its the people who get in the way of the grizzlies. Some only wish to observe but others seek to kill them for greed. Poachers and their likes always look for the weakness in laws and areas that have not had any recent illegal activity. As soon as the time is right they go in and commit their disgusting acts. Removing them from the endangered list makes them immediate targets.

Bears are the natural predators in the area, they maintain the cycle of the food chain. The sudden disapearance of grizzlies affects the other life in the area. The loss of bears encourages other life to accumilate and grow out of proportions this causes overcrowding and the affected life spread out into unfamilliar territories and eventually into public areas causing havok and complaints by the uninformed public that did not know the fact that it happened because the bears were not protected and were killed off due to poachers greed.

What is this hidden agenda of removing from the Endanger Species List the Grizzlies? This is an unwarranted action plan, which need to be condemned and literally preventing the Government of any such post haste action. By delisting Grizzlies get more and more endangered and can ultimately vanish from this earth. Please let's not allow this to happen.

Human's are the biggest predator's of all!

Grizzlies are an essential part of the ecosystem and need to survive. Surprisingly enough, they do not understand the artificial territory that you have set for them so that one step outside of the designated path means instant death! Kill a few so that they become even rarer makes them all the more desirable to kill so that some stupid redneck can boast about it! These wonderful animals belong to everyone, not just the man with his gun so please ensure that our children can enjoy them too.

Perhaps you should follow one of your greatest presidents' ideals "I am in favour of animal rights as well as human rights. That is the way of a whole human being" -- Abraham Lincoln

The grizzlies are a part of our lives. I want my daughter to be able to grow up knowing and being able to see the grizzlies as they live and breathe.
