Please Don't Ignore Stray animals on highways

We the undersigned have noticed and even you are aware of the fact the numerous accidents happening on all highways of our country, our legislature clearly grants permission and right to help save them and take initiative measures to reduce as many accidents as possible. Work such as providing ambulance facilities, etc.
But the concern here is that the scale this problem is imposing.
India boasts of having the second largest road network in the world, second only to the United States. According to India's National Economic Survey of 2007/08, this is no less than 3.34 million kilometres . Although only around half of this is surfaced and less than 2 percent of this comprises National Highways, the latter alone account for 40% of our total traffic.
A rough calculation indicates that vehicles here kill around 15,000 animals every year in just that 10 km of road.
We know growing traffic is a problem and if it cannot be cured then at least we can try and avoid these disasters. We are aware of our species that are falling in the categories of being endangered. A common animal, a Cow, whom we refer as "Gau Mata" is thrashed by transport trucks running at the rate of nuts at night. So is the case with dogs, swines, cubs, snakes, reptiles and so many others.
We request you to please take corrective measures such as organizing fences where animal population is more, hoarding signs, warning signs of animal habitat and every small contribution on the highways being constructed and which are active.
