what is ODDD
Oculo-Dento-Digital Dysplasia is a rare disorder that may be inherited as an autosomal dominant trait or be caused by a new change in the gene that occurs for no apparent reason (mutation).
Dear Medical Professional, Genetic Research and Treatment Community, Politicians and Social Service Professionals . . .
We are writing to you in hopes to bring more Awareness and Funding to the little known Genetic Malady, ODDD, Oculo-Dento-Digital Dysplasia. At present there are approximately 1,000 persons across the Globe who suffer from this Disease. There is little Research or Funding allocated to any type of Education or Treatment. The various Social Service Agencies that service the Families or Persons surrounding this Disability are undereducated about the profound effects upon the overall Health of the one who suffers, usually Children and their Families who must mitigate through limited understanding, rejection and resources. The aim of this letter is but to first inform each of you of this disease in hopes that you too will ask questions.
I thank you for your time. Please inform your colleagues.
Blessings Jade Inner Child
