Led Zeppelin has made one of the greatest impacts in music and culture as a band. Equal to that of the Beatles or Elvis. They played all their best stuff before I was even born. And I think that there music is some of the best and most influencial of their century.

I'm a combination Dead Head/Led Head... How about a Grateful Dead-styled SINGER-LESS band named "DEAD ZEPPELIN" with Bob Weir or Warren Haynes Adding their magic. The fans would do all the singing and we would LOVE to hear a 20 minute jammed out 'For Your Love,' or 'Trampled Under Foot,' or a smoking 15 minute long 'Hot Dog!' Improvise EVERY night and toss the setlists in advance. Jam Bands are HUGE in the USA. A single penny would not have to be spent on promotion. The would absolutely blow people's minds as they would NEVER see this coming! Allow an open audience recording policy to thwart the boottleg profiteers, offer 'Tour Books' as Dead Heads will go to EVERY show in the USA following the band around, allow open vending in the parking lots, relax just a tad on the 'Tour Heads' selling cool T-shirts and stickers celebrating the union.Keep the ticket prices down as no singer would have to be paid, plus the 3Js could play rock the new material the whole world is dying to hear. Everyone wins!!!! Rock and Roll! Clay Crovatt Brennecke Columbia South Carolina USA

I have over 4 hours of tasty never released Zeppelin tapes. Did you know they covered "train kept a rollin" and "red house"? I also have a 45 minute Madison Square Garden "dazed and confused". My favorite however is the whole first album live. Seems they came over here and did the "top of the pops" tv show in the late sixties. You have never heard those songs until you have heard them done before all of the hard touring took its toll. I swear Robert could break crystal when he was 19. And Jimmy absolutely was a smokin blues ripper in the early days (daze?) Search around for some of these jewels, you won't regret it. Peace.

I can't believe that I never thought of this. I can think of no more deserving band to ever be so neglected. As a musician, they've meant so much to me over the years, and to sign this seems so petty, but if it helps... GREAT!! D

It's really quite insane that Zeppelin doesn't have a star - I looked for it when I first moved to LA (year ago) and was later baffled to find out they never received one!! Well hopefully now they'll get one...Greatest Band in the World!
