Stop Comprehensive Plan Amendment #A-4 Rezone to Industrial

The Comprehensive Plan is the Citys "blueprint for growth and development." It contains a future land use map, goals and policies that provide guidance to the City as we grow and change to meet the demands of a growing region. Included in the 2010 Comprehensive Plan is an amendment proposal to reclassify the property located at 19740 Military Road So. (SEQ NW03-22N-04E) from Residential Medium Density (UM-2400) to Industrial. We, the petitioners, feel this would be out of character in a neighborhood that is currently zoned for Residential (UL-7200 & UM-2400) and will have a negative impact on the surrounding property values.
We the undersigned wish to express our opposition to the Comprehensive Plan changes proposed in Amendment A-4 to reclassify the property located at 19740 Military Road So from the current Residential Medium Density (UM-2400) designation to Industrial (I). As our elected representatives, we urge you to vote against this proposed change and retain the current zoning designation.
