William G.Tolson, Jr. was sentenced to 22 years for the beating and murder of 2-year-old Nevaeh Maree Boggan in August of 2007 after pleading guilty to second degree murder.
We have just been notified that William G. Tolson, Jr. will be eligible for parole a year earlier than he was originally scheduled. Therefore, we are requesting that William G. Tolson, offender 1181601, is not released early and that justice is fully served for Nevaeh Maree, a little girl who was brutally murdered by this person.
Upon obtaining enough signatures we will print this petition and request the parole board to re-visit this decision and make the right decision. Please add your signature and ask others to support us to. The message must be very clear that child abuse and murder is not acceptable and sentences must be carried out in full.

The following is a summary of the probable cause statement:
Tolson was unable to keep his story straight while being interviewed by police. The initial 911 call made by Tolson on the morning of Aug. 24, said that while he was outside raking leaves, he heard his daughter fall in the bathtub and thought that there was water in her lungs. But when questioned by police hours later about a head injury, Tolson said that she had not fallen any time during the day. He said that the only time he was not watching Nevaeh Boggan was while she was in the tub, but he had not seen or heard her fall at any time.
According to Tolson, his memory of the events on that day were "foggy." He said that it was his anger that sometimes causes his thoughts to be "foggy." He also had smoked marijuana that morning. Tolson said that he usually does not smoke marijuana in the mornings, but he had been upset after spanking Nevaeh and wanted to slow down the thoughts in his head. Tolson only confessed to spanking Nevaeh after police informed him that medical personnel had discovered injuries to the child that would have not been caused by a drowning incident.
Medical personnel at Lake Regional Health Systems indicated the child had severe injuries consistent with physical abuse. The child had suspicious bruising, hemorrhaging in the brain and injuries to internal organs. The mother of the child, Sierra Boggan, told police that when she left her home earlier that morning, her child did not have those injuries.
Nevaeh was pronounced dead at 10:05am, on Aug. 25 at the St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, Mo. The cause of death, according to the autopsy, was blunt trauma to the head. Later that day, Tolson was served with a warrant charging him with one count of second degree murder in connection with the death of Nevaeh Boggan. He is being held in the Camden County jail without bond. A court date of Sept. 6 has been set at the Camden County courthouse.
