Target:
Senator Barack Obama, Senator Joe Biden, and the People of America
Sponsored by:

Dear Senator Barack Obama, Senator Joe Biden, and the People of America

With our country's economy ailing, and the war in Iraq bringing increasing grief to the families at home, our country needs a new generation of leadership that will be able to put America back on its rightful path in the world. What our country truly needs right now is; Experience and Change.

Those qualities and goals are exactly what Senator Barack Obama and Senator Joe Biden have the capacity and will to do, as President and Vice President of the United States of America. Together, these two men would lead our country in the next eight years to unprecedented heights.

-         Senator Joe Biden has created a brilliant plan to lead our nation safely out of Iraq, without leaving chaos and wreckage behind. (http://www.planforiraq.com/)

-         Senator Obama and Senator Biden have developed a coherent and truly international plan of foreign policy for our nation: one of co-prosperity, cooperation, and agreement, based on years of experience, and a true desire for change in our country's position in the world and it's international relations from that of the past eight years.

-         Senator Obama is ready to unify America. As he himself has said 'There is not a White America, there is not a Black America, there is not an Asian America, there is not a Latino America, there is the United States of America!' Senator Obama's willingness to finally expand beyond partisan and racial boundaries is truly an embodiment of the American dream.

-         Senator Obama is ready to fix the ruin our nation has experienced in the past 8 years, through a new era of governmental openness and political integrity, economic prosperity, and focus on proper and thorough education, and people-based domestic policies.

-         Senator Obama and Senator Biden have both developed a practical, economically-secure, and efficient energy plan that will finally lower our dependence on foreign oil, and help our nation begin to move to the alternatives of clean energy (http://biden.senate.gov/issues/environment.cfm)

Senator Barack Obama, and Senator Joe Biden, we, the undersigned, call upon you two to run together in the coming Presidential Election as President and Vice-President of the United States of America - together you two will bring about true change for the better in America, finally leading our nation away from the path of destruction and failure it has been so recently following.

People of America, share with us the call for Senator Obama and Senator Biden to together walk into the Oval Office. Together, they will truly begin to put America back on its feet and together, we, America as a whole, shall walk into the new age of peace, progress and prosperity together.

Senator Barack Obama, and Senator Joe Biden, we the undersigned, the people of America, call on you two to together lead our nation as our next President and Vice President of the United States!

Joe Biden has the experience to bring peace to our nation, and stability to the middle east. Biden has also proven to excell in debates against Republicans like Giuliani, and will provide a stronger base of support in November.

Despite the enormous "to-do" made about Biden's early attempt to describe Obama's candidacy with grace, a closer look at these 2 free-thinking and right-guided politicians screams out for their unification for the good of our country.

I love Joe Biden! I actually wanted him for President! He would offer the depth of experience so many critics say Obama lacks. I would be thrilled with an Obama/Biden ticket!

I am a two-time Bill Clinton voter. I have been excited about taking back the White House in 2008 and supported Hillary throughout the last year. She takes a lot of criticism and harsh comments for someone who has represented her country well. All the Hillary bashing makes me sick as a democrat. We should be happy that we have choices. Why do we always have to hate the other candidate to lift our choice up? I have respect for both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama and support both of them almost equally now. Hillary is a solid performer and Barack is inspiring. Who would have ever thought we would have so many great choices this year? Either one, in my opinion, would do their very best to represent the country. I have always liked Joe Biden. He is a proven leader and has a great plan for Iraq. He has charm and wit to spare! It will be nice to have someone in the White House that CAN speak the English language well AND eloquently. I would have supported him as president if we did not have two such clear front-runners. I actually took one of those "candidate selector quizzes" and Joe Biden came up as my best fit over both Clinton and Obama! He would make a great president and after all is that not why we have a VP--to have a back up? At this point, with the split in votes, I believe that Obama should be the nominee. Anything else would divide the party. Clinton as the VP represents too many issues down the road. Biden would make the best choice as VP for Obama. He was my choice for Hillary. I voted for Hillary in the Georgia Primary and I am proud to say that. I stood at that booth for a long time trying to make up my mind even though Obama was sure to take the win in Georgia. Many people had a hard time choosing between her and Obama. I wanted to vote for both of them and I guess I will now get that chance ironically. OBAMA/BIDEN 2008!

An Obama/Biden ticket would be unstoppable and impressive: http://tinyurl.com/2678yv. Failing that--if the Clintons do manage to completely poison the well--then the dream ticket that should emerge at the Democratic convention is Gore/Obama. The media must get off this ridiculous Clinton-planted idea of a Clinton/Obama "dream ticket" that will kill our party and only unite the most reptilian-brain-driven factions of the Republican party. Further, a Clinton/Obama ticket would extinguish all hope I have that we as a nation can transcend the back-room wheeling and dirty-dealing politics that have darned near killed our once-great nation. The Clintons have demonstrated that they'll do anything to win power, even to the point of increasing the chances of a Republican win in November, and theirs is exactly the kind of approach to government we're trying to extricate ourselves from now. We need Hillary Clinton to win like a hole in our heads. I used to think the world of Bill Clinton, but not any more. And Hillary? If she loses the nomination to Obama, I could see her joining a McCain/Clinton ticket purely out of spite. I will NOT vote for Hillary Clinton no matter what; and I will NOT vote for John McCain no matter what; and I will NOT vote for Ralph Nader, either. (I think Howard Dean is smart enough to figure that one out, if the DLC is not.) Don't misunderstand me: I won't be staying home, not voting; I'll be voting absentee so I can circumvent Diebold and write in the candidate of my choice. The bottom line is, it's going to be someone with the strength, integrity, intelligence, courage, humility, and compassion to be a great president, one who can mobilize each and every one of us, in the wake of events of the last ten years, to best the dire challenges we now must face.

If Biden's were Obama's VP, it would make Obama's plans and policies more credible. This would more than secure Barack's win over McCain!

I think that Joe Biden is the perfect compliment to an Obama presidential run. He has a ton of experience, especially on foreign policy, and wouldn't be afraid to take on John McCain and the Republican VP on key issues like Iraq.

It makes perfect sense to me. I love Joe Biden, and of couse, Barack.

When I was talking with my friend over a year ago, shortly after Obama announced his candidacy, I speculated that Obama would be the nominee. However, I was stumped as to who would make the best running mate for him. My thought it over for a minute, and then stated: "It would have to be someone with experience who is popular with the base ... Joe Biden." I think my friend made the right call. Joe Biden not only has the most foreign policy experience of any of the candidates this year, he is also a political fighter of extraordinary caliber. It was Biden who turned Rudy Giuliani, "America's Mayor", "The Hero of 9-11", into a national punchline with his pithy observation that Giuliani only ever spoke "a noun, a verb, and 9-11." We need someone who can help Obama expose John McCain as the corrupt fraud and phony war hero that he is, and there is no one better qualified than Joe Biden.
