This is a petition to legalize gay marriage. It is targeted to the Citizens of the State of Ohio, my home state. This petition has a goal of 5,000, and upon reaching that goal, a copy of the petition will be send to all US Senators and Representatives of the State of Ohio. These are members of the National Congress, not the State Congress.

We the undersigned,
Petition the United States Congress to grant gays the right to enjoy the legal status called marriage. We exercise our constitutional right to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. We ask for the removal of all Sanctity of Marriage Legislation, or ask that American Citizens who a gay be permitted to enjoy the same rights to happiness American Citizens who are Heterosexual are permitted by their right to enjoy the legal status of marriage.
