Your fans are begging you, please do not give up on Midnight Sun! We can understand your anger and frustration over having chapters of the book leaked before it was finished. It was wrong, and if we were in your position, we would be equally upset.

That being said, we are begging you to complete this book.

For those of us that didn't read it, we were waiting patiently for the book to be completed and released. We were so happy when you confirmed that you would, indeed, complete this book. We want to know Edward, through his own eyes and memories. We want to know how he sees Bella and how he interacts with his family. We don't want to lose him without ever truly knowing who he was.

For those of us that did read the chapters (and please believe that a good portion of us originally thought this was fan fiction, and when we realized it was really your story, we hoped that it was an intentional leak as a teaser), our hearts practically stopped when we heard you would not continue this project. In the pages we read, we found a story that we loved even more than Twilight. We didn't stop reading until we got to the last page, and we were desperate for more. We have never wanted to buy a book so badly as we did when we got to that last page. Though it was a violation of your privacy and trust, there could not have been a greater teaser. You have ignited the interests of all of your fans, and perhaps the interest of those who have never read your books. Please don't put out that flame.

We will be patient, we will wait as long as it takes for you to complete this book as you had originally intended. We just don't want to see Midnight Sun come to an unfinished end.
