Put PEACE Back into Mother's Day

Mother's Day was established FOR PEACE in aftermath of US Civil War (Julia Ward Howe, Peace Proclamation, 1870).  So, along with the chocolates and roses (Fair Trade, of course: FT frees millions of women and children from economic slavery:       a) Put Peace Back into Mother's Day: by requiring all governments, NGOs, companies, schools, etc., to implement truly proportional female/male balance at all levels;    b) Help heal the environmental catastrophe inflicted on the Earth by overly male economic and political systems: insist that 1% of all monies, materiel and personnel now dedicated to weapons and war be diverted to provide everyone with fresh water.    c) So establish a real and lasting memorial to all who have given their lives, in the tragic belief that their war was - at last - the 'war to end all wars'.  And to the women who gave them birth.
