The Pioneer of Arnold-Chiari Malformation Research and Corrective Surgeries has been denied renewal of his medical license, not because he did anything wrong but because his research and findings are so far advanced in the study of the brain and spinal cord, he surpasses the understanding of the current medical community. To lose his license to practice means the loss of years of vital pioneering research. It means death to thousands and poor quality of life, at best, for many thousands more.

Dr. Rosner treated my wife for pressure buildup in the brain. This dagnosis was missed by other doctors and had been developing for years. NPH was the problem. Two neck corrections followed by a shunt corrected the problem. Now we have to find another doctor to follow through with her care. Dr. Rosner spent more time with my wife on her first visit (1.5 hours) than any prior examination by other doctors. Other patients I met in the waiting room praised his abilities - something is wrong with the system.

I'm a past surgical patient of Dr Rosner. He is a hero. He has helped save my life in so many ways with his medical technology. Thank you Dr Rosner from the bottom of my heart for saving me. I'm standing right beside you. You will always be my angel. Please listen to Dr Rosner and the patients not the politics. This would be a huge mistake to not allow Dr Rosner not to help save the people he was born to.

My daughter made 2 trips to the Chiari Institute in New York. She preferred to be in her home state for surgery, if possible. Dr. Rosner was recommended to her for his expertise in this field. Thank God we have pioneers like Dr. Rosner and the Chiari Institute to help those who are suffering! Please reinstate Dr. Rosner's license to give hope to Chiari patients. He has helped my daughter!!!

Our Son has this birth defect and it is very debilitating he suffers every day and it is so sad to see and all we can do is hope and pray that a cure will be found,I know there are operations for it but they do not work that well, we need more study on this,please think about reinstating Dr Michael J Rosner....Thank you Lillian Gaber

My wife is a patient of Dr. Rosner's and he successfully treated Laurie. This is a real travesty and we expect the board to be accountable for their decision!

I sincerely hope that the Medical Board will re-consider their decision and reinstate Dr Rosner's medical license. He is a fine human being and an extremely caring Doctor. Please allow him to continue in his profession.
