Please read this petition carefully.

A standard TV license is supposed to fund companies like the BBC so that they can continue making programs like 'Top Gear.........(to be filled after more research)......
However these programs made for TV are renowned to Squander the funds on Cars, Flights to other countries, hiring of Planes for races and Police services for accidents. or other shows (like Game Shows) that fund the prize money for winners for completing a stupid Course like 'Total Wipeout' ...(to be filled after more research)........

The TV license is an unlawful law forcing the public to pay for watching anything on a screen display. A Mobile Phone is NOT a TV. A Portable DVD player is NOT a TV. A Computer Screen is NOT a TV. Other gadgets like Games consoles, VHS players can be played on a TV and you still get charged for playing a game or watching a Video. This however is NOT what a TV license is for.

As required by law every household in the UK pays money for a TV license, but those who do not own a TV (Yes, there are people who don't) are still required to pay full price for having other gadgets like A Computer, Mobile Phones or DVD Players, Therefore the government should not be allowed to charge you for these items. Either we stop paying our TV license (which they would never except) or Propose a reform of the TV license and change it To 'Media license.

Dear Prime Minister,

Today's technology changes everyday and I know you are of firm belief that we should change with it. In the 21s Century humans can watch a streaming video on almost every gadget we make, weather its a TV, PC, i-pad, Laptop or Mobile Phone.

It is unfair to include these gadgets in a TV license. the only solution (Without abolishing the License) is to change it to include such gadgets, therefore we suggest A 'Media License' should be brought into play.

We the undersigned Demand that you stop Ripping off the public for yearly charges which are out of date and unlawful. As today's technology advances, SO MUST YOU.
