Remove IAMS adverts from Care2!!

IAMS, the pet-food giant subsidiary of Procter & Gamble, conducts evil experiments on the same animals they market their pet-food for.

Care2.com, the website naively used by so many people who DO care for the welfare of those with no voice, is right now plagued with adverts from IAMS, who have been experimenting on animals for a very long time, and against which and its parent company Procter & Gamble there is a worldwide campaign and boycott. Many of us are naturally very angry about this and have written to Care2.com to complain, but while some of us have been offered a lame answer, others have not even had a reply with an explanation about why they're allowing it, and meanwhile the offending ad keeps popping up on our screens.

IAMS / Eukanuba and Procter & Gamble do SO MANY evil experiments on animals, ranging from testing anything from cosmetics to oven cleaners on them and a hell of a lot more really evil experiments, that there is no space to try to explain it all here, so I'm pasting a few links so that everyone can see for themselves.

This petition is targeted at Randy Paynter, president of Care2.com, to ask him to remove these very offensive adverts from Care2 completely, and to prevent the Care2 website that we loved from looking hypocritical and from appearing as if it has no principles.

When there was the pet food scare a couple of years ago (I think that's when it was), my cat became sick from Iams food and the company refunded my entire vet bill. There is nothing more upsetting than to see your cat become ill from food that had a good reputation for being healthy. I have never bought Iams again and never plan to.

Where is care2 standing for?? Where is your consciousness...is this for sale...? What ever your philosophy is to accept these companies, which are famous worldwide for their bloody animal experiments... Why is care2 plunging their green name into the blood of many innocent, defenceless victims of these companies??? WE, the members of care2, did not abuse nore torture animals, so IAMS must proof with evidence that THEY don't torture any animal anymore, not us!! Eukanuba is still sponsoring the sled-dog races and you know that these poor animals are abused too. When I drink coffee with Hitler and dance a tango with him, or my friends are pedofiles....WHAT would you are thinking of me?? Would you believe me if I was telling you that I was trying to change these persons into rightious men?? Please, care2, be honest!!

I am actually now a former buyer of Iams pet food. I watched the video about them and have done reading from several sources supporting claims of animal abuse and vivisection. I was first appalled by the fact that the advertising by IAMS is so "animal friendly" and truth be told they are perpetrating the very abuses I abhor most. I found Care2 to be a great networking source for people concerned with the same issues of myself. I do appreciate the fact that without advertising dollars, sites like this wouldn't exist. I am hoping that Care2 will consider the option of not using those particular dollars to further their company which stands for so much more. Thank you
