Heard the trite cutesy phrase "the party of NO"? Well, that's close - WE ARE THE PEOPLE OF "KNOW".
We KNOW congress is trying to slam through another government take-over program for your healthcare similar to the program in Massachusetts. We KNOW that program has resulted in HIGHER taxes, INCREASED (not decreased) healthcare costs, LESS ACCESS to quality care and there are still 5% of the folks not covered.
We KNOW that congress plans to tax our healthcare benefits (share the wealth?) and we also KNOW that UNION MEMBERS will be EXEMPT from this tax increase. We KNOW this pattern all too well.
We KNOW that the government wants to add at least 3 trillion more dollars to our debt to implement government healthcare and we KNOW it will result in a single payor model - it's happened all to often in other countries - why will our power-hungry government be any different?
Go to http://whoismyrepresentative.com/ and contact your senator and congress representative and tell them you DO NOT WANT government to mandate your healthcare. They must SLOW DOWN, they must engage the ideas of the conservatives, who agree that change to the health insurance is due, but have a plan that does NOT destroy our economy and leaves the CONSUMER in charge.
