Communities benefit when cycling and walking needs are taken into consideration consistently, and at an early enough stage, in any road improvement project occurring in the area.

We the undersigned endorse safer cycling and walking facilities within the Erie Community.  We would like to cycle or walk to work, to the local store or to school, but are inhibited by the lack of available safe routes.  When new paving projects are being considered, we request that the community planners incorporate safe bike/pedestrian features in the new design.
