Keep Lumpy In The New 2011 Winnie the Pooh Movie!

"We can do it, two is better, you and me together..."

Fans of Lumpy, the Heffalump:

In 2005, Lumpy the Heffalump melted our hearts when he busted onto the screen in "Pooh's Heffalump Movie."  His exuberance, loyalty, and silliness were the essence of an innocent childhood.  In 2011, Walt Disney Animation Studios is creating the first made-for-theaters Winnie the Pooh film since the original, 1977 "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh".  Fans of the purple Heffalump, Heffridge Trumpler Brompet Heffalump the Fourth, need to join together to ensure Lumpy is in the film.  It is possible that Disney will make this new Pooh film a direct sequel to the original, which would cut Lumpy out.  If you're a fan of this heartwarming, purple Heffalump please express it by signing the petition and letting Disney know that Lumpy should be in the 2011 Winnie the Pooh sequel!

Let's stand "shoulder to shoulder" and be "brave together, brave forever", if we do, "we can weather whatever comes along."

Thank you and "heffa nice day"!

Attn: John Lasseter, Steve Anderson, Clark Spencer, Don Hall, and Burny Mattinson.

This is a petition from the fans of Heffridge Trumpler Brompet Heffalump the Fourth, better known as "Lumpy."  We are aware that you are creating a new Winnie the Pooh theatrical sequel for a Spring 2011 release.  We are excited to see both Pooh's return to traditional-animation and a new Pooh film.  However, we have created this petition to inform you of the large fan base that Lumpy has and therefore ask that you include him in the film alongside the rest of the main gang - Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Rabbit, and Roo.

This purple Heffalump has captured our hearts with his childlike innocence and we feel he is one of Disney's most endearing animated characters in years.

We understand that you may want to create a more 'traditional' sequel that directly follows 1977's "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh."

Even so, please include Lumpy. Out of all the direct-to-video sequels and television shows since the original, he is the most popular character among Disney fans.

Darby, her dog Buster, and all the new characters from the CGI television show "My Friends Tigger & Pooh" are largely despised.

Characters from the home premieres such as Kessie are also disliked.

Lumpy stands out among the crowd and captured our heart. You need not include any other new character from any of the eight direct-to-video sequels, four television shows, or multiple made-for-television films based upon the television shows.

Lumpy is an extra special character among all the extraneous characters added over the years. He holds a special place in the hearts of Disney animation fans and would be sorely missed if not included in the new Winnie the Pooh film.

Thank you and 'heffa nice day!'

P.S. It'd be nice to see Gopher and Owl back, too!
