I think WalMart should keep the above mentioned supplies because so many other stores are closing and we can always find it at Wal-Mart. Thank You. God Bless America
I think that Wal Mart should keep a big selection of yarn and material in their stores, its supposed to be a one store stop.
I live in a small town in the Ozarks, which has no local LYS.Without Wal-Marts large yarn selection those of us who knit or crochet would have no pllace at all locally to buy yarn or needles/hooks. In fact, we would love to see our yarn/crafts section expanded.
I live in a small town, with very little selection in affordable yarn and craft supplies. Walmart is filling that niche for many in my community, as well as those from surrounding communities who come here to shop.
THEY HAVE ALWAYS CARRIED A GREAT SELECTION OF YARN BOTH IN REGULAR AND BABY YARN
they the only one with affordable prices and its close to my home.
I think WalMart should keep supplying it's stores with yarn and yarn craft stock, since it is such an enjoyable craft as well as keeping such supplies in a community that is in a cold weather area, the yarns are almost as important as the warm clothing!
Your price is compartable to that of Hobby Lobby, Jo-Ann's and Michaels. Widen your selection.
Walmart's craft section is really nice. Their items are very inexpensive, and it has a vast selection, and I would also like to see more.
I think Wal-mart needs a good selection due to the fact that not everyone that goes to Wal-mart is looking for other stuff. We as crocheters and knitters would like to keep our business local and at Wal-mart, but need Wal-mart to be willing to keep a supply of products that gives us an opportunity to have something to choose from. Please consider our requests. Thank you
I think Wal Mart should keep a large selection of yarn because most of our wool shops are in the downtown area and not everybody lives downtown.
pkease keep your yarn section
Each of the charities I knit for ask for different colors and weights of yarn and WalMart usually has a large selection I can count on.
It's cheap and affordable.
With gas prices high, it is needed to supply yarn affordably close to home for all of us.
Without a big selection people will eventually not even go to the yarn section thus keeping customers out of the store instead of in the store
It would help if Wal-mart carried yarn that one actually wants to use. Baby yarn, Caron yarn, Simply Soft in particular - cotton yarns and cotton blends. Wool yarns, such as Lion Wool and Paton's wool - there are so many affordable brands. Shame on you for discontinuing these products. They may not carry the same profit margin as other products - but carrying these products promotes customer loyalty.
Wal-Mart is suppose to have everything under one roof, they do not they need to step up there yarn supply so everything can be under one roof. Why do you want to send us somewhere else? Hobby Lobby and Michaels also carry a lot of stuff you carry so they get more of our money which takes from you.
There are more yarn crafters than you know - and we need to have our yarn local and have variety. I count on Wal*Mart to be there for me (especially in the winter!)
I make rectangles that are sewn into afghans for the wounded soldiers at 10 different hospitals. We have over 900 volunteers all over the country. In many small towns Walmart is the only place to buy yarn. Please do not discontinue the yarn department.
Walmart needs to keep its supply because with today's economy, more people are buying the supplies to make what they need because they can't afford to buy pre-made items, or they make gifts to give for the same reason.

THERE ARE ALOT OF PATIENTS IN NURSING HOMES THAT FIND THIS YARN A GREAT VAULE TO THIER LIVES |
it is one of the most convenient and econimic retailers of yarn
We don't have another store to carry a large seletion of yarn. the next biggest place is in Louisville KY. Its just to far away with todays gas prices.. Wal-mart needs to carry yarn and craft too weather its yarn , fabric, foam, beads, fabric, paints, art supplies, holidays supplies and more etc....the whole town needs it. Schools, colleges, scouts, churches etc...
many people cannot afford to shop at yarn stores, or want decent quality acrylics (NOT red heart!!). i do most of my grocery shopping at walmart, and like being able to pick up a few skeins for a project at the same time, without using more gas to go somewhere else.
I think Wal Mart should keep a wide variety of yarn b/c it's the only place that many people get their yarn and it would be a huge loss to the knitting community.
It used to be great going into Walmart and finding more than half an isle full of yarn. Now it is almost depressing to go to the crafts department because there is no material in the majority of Walmarts and barely any yarn left. Walmart isn't here for the public they are starting to use the same business practices that turned people away from Kmart and was part of the big downfall of Ben Franklin stores...greed and wanting to sell high profit higher end products.....Too bad for you many knitters and crocheters now go to the yarn carrying stores and spend much of their hobby money there and will only use Walmart in a yarning emergency, therefore; lost customers and lost revenue.
I think Wal-Mart should keep a big selection of yarn because:
