The Nevada State Assembly is considering an additional 19% budget cut to Nevada's higher educational budget.  This is what will happen if the education budget cuts are passed:

SIGNIFICANTLY higher tuition and fees
Fewer course offerings and larger class sizes
Reduced degrees and programs
Extended time for degree completion
Quality students, faculty and staff leave the state for better education, jobs and support
Fewer FT faculty and reduced funding for PT instructors

All citizens in Nevada will be affected by these budget cuts.
