An independent bookstore and one of the last community-oriented places in town is being evicted by the owner of the building. Please help by signing a petition of support for Webster's Bookstore Cafe.
We, the undersigned, are frequent customers of Webster's Bookstore Cafe, in downtown State College (128 S. Allen, State College PA 16801). We petition you to reconsider your decision to terminate Websters lease agreement on 30 July 2010. Webster's has been an integral part of the State College community since 1999 and we all feel a deep sense of attachment to Webster's and what it represents. We urge you to extend the lease beyond this date and, if possible, to make a longer term rental agreement with Webster's proprietary, Elaine Meder-Wilgus. Respectfully submitted,
