As an individual committed to social justice,
I stand with the YWCA against racism and discrimination of any kind.
I will commit to a lifetime of promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity
for all people in my community and in the world.
The goal of the YWCA's Stand Against Racism movement is to raise awareness that racism still exists in our communities and that it cannot be ignored or tolerated. Our objective is to bring organizations and individuals together, who believe like we do, that united we can eliminate racism.
Through our annual event, we hope to attract over 1,500 organizations and 200,000 individuals in a united effort to raise awareness. If you are an organization, you can host a Stand at your own location. If you are an individual, you can attend one of the many Stands throughout the country.
