A gay 'conversion' conference is touring to different places and is called "The Leapers Amongst Us: Homosexuality and the Life of the Church". It has already been to Belfast, and is now in London.

It was put together by the Core Issues Trust, an organization that wants to work with people who are trying to change from living a "gay lifestyle" to being in a "gender-affirming one". 

Every major psychology organization, or those affiliated with mental health and counseling, have showed concern over "ex-gay" therapy and have said that it exploits the problems LGB people face today. It has also been proven to not work, and be very damaging to the LGB individuals that suffer through it. 

Please tell Core Issues Trust to stop this harmful conference and show respect to LGB people instead of trying to change who they are. 

Dear Core Issues Trust,

Please stop the "The Leapers Amongst Us: Homosexuality and the Life of the Church" traveling conference. It is not only offensive, but it spreads misinformation -- "ex-gay" therapy has been proven not to work, and is even damaging to the LGB people that experience it.

Respect LGB people and don't try to change who they are.
