Stop HAARP Project Now!

I have been promoting ethical issues, particularly the dreadful oil spillage in the Gulf of Mexico. BP's blatant disregard for the wild life & inhabitants of the Gulf were a disgrace, not to mention the long term effects it might have for the whole planet. When will corporate greed ever cease?
However, for the last 6 months I have been investigating the HAARP project, which could have repercussions for the whole of mankind, far worse than the Gulf Oil spillage. If used wrongly, it could be the most devastating weapon since the Atomic Bomb. The High-Frequency Active Aural Research Program (HAARP) based in Gokoma Alaska-jointly managed by the US Air Force and the US Navy-is part of a new generation of sophisticated weaponry under the US Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI). Operated by the Air Force Research Laboratory's Space Vehicles Directorate.
This sinister project has the potential to modifiy weather patterns, cause Earthquakes & Tsunamis, & can even produce mind control.
A recent UN Report states HAARP can create 'HEAVY NUCLEAR TYPE EXPLOSION'! ... in violation of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapon

In addition, If this project modifies the weather, as is suspected, then it also violates the Environmental Modification Treaty.
Do we really want to have such a technology in the hands of the American military? I think not, just look at the so called non existent weapons of mass destruction in the Iraq War. I cannot believe that this dreadful project isn't getting more attention, it should be stopped in it's track at the United Nations. It's bad enough polluting our oceans, now were messing about with our weather systems. Enough is enough. Please research HAARP on Google, find out for yourselves, & spread the word. The recent Oil Spillage in the Gulf of Mexico has made us all realise that corporate greed, particularly the Oil companies, is slowly destroying the our precious planet. It seems however that we have not learned our lesson, & we suspect that we never will.
Mankind has increased the anti with a sinister military project called HAARP. HAARP stands for High Active Frequency Auroral Research Project. If used wrongly, it could be the most devastating weapon since the Atomic Bomb.
HAARP constitutes a system of powerful antennas capable of creating "controlled local modifications of the ionosphere". Scientist Dr. Nicholas Begich-actively involved in the public campaign against HAARP-describes HAARP as: "A super-powerful radio wave-beaming technology that lifts areas of the ionosphere (upper layer of the atmosphere) by focusing a beam and heating those areas. Electromagnetic waves then bounce back onto earth and penetrate everything-living and dead."
Dr. Rosalie Bertell depicts HAARP as "a gigantic heater that can cause major disruption in the ionosphere, creating not just holes, but long incisions in the protective layer that keeps deadly radiation from bombarding the planet." According to Dr. Rosalie Bertell, HAARP is part of a integrated weapons' system, which which has potentially devastating environmental consequences.

Thank you for taking th etime to read this letter. I believe this project must be stopped before unrepairable damage is done to our planet, whether be design, or by accident.
