MAKE DOG KILLING ILLEGAL IN INDIA
Dogs are being killed for their skin which is sold as cheap leather in markets,in those states and also in other states.
They are also sometimes killed by the MCD(MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF DELHI) and OTHER GOVERNMENT ORGANISATIONS IN OTHER STATES,stating 'dog menace'.
Apart from this dogs are also being killed for their meat,which is sold in local roadside shops known as "Dhabas",or is eaten by locals.
Also various leading newspapers such as the MUMBAI MIRROR,DNA WEST COAST etc. have published articles regarding the killing of dogs under mysterious circumstances,and their dissapearence from residential colonies,even after this none of the Animal Rights NGO's have bothered to take any steps or even to look into the matter.
This "dog meat culture" is slowly but surely creeping into India from China and Korea,and soon there will be almost every shop serving dog meat dishes.
This petition of mine will be sent to the High Court of india,sincerely requesting the respected judge, to issue out a Law/s stating "KILLING OF DOGS IS ILLEGAL IN INDIA" which shall include heavy fines, punishments,jail terms etc.also including Cruelty to Animals Act,1960.
I sincerely request you to sign this petition as the sooner the better.

Dog killing must be stopped - no questions about this at all because it is an inhumane act. The so called leaders in India should be ashamed of themselves doing such acts of violence. Like Mr. Philip Wollen (a great humanitarian from Australia) says "Believe me, it takes courage to stand up and speak. Sometimes it takes more courage to sit down and listen". This is so true of our current so called leaders!! WHY DON'T THEY LISTEN ?????

This is terrible! It makes me sick! Domestic dogs were bred to be household member and friends. They were bred to protect us. To use them in this way is sick! Please have a heart and put an end to this evil!
Mother Earth belongs to all earthlings and everyone has the rights to live a decent life.. If dogs are a menace, then the food for thought is “who was it who made the equilibrium in the nature to fluctuate??“ We humans abuse nature for our selfish needs and when the balance is lost, we give in to the inhumane practices to get it back to where it was... but I guess the fact to the matter is it is irreversible.. Who made us the kings and queens to decide where an animal lives? how it lives? how it dies? And when it dies?? Dogs have been closest to humans and that’s why the metaphor "As faithful as a Dog" Just imagine a more powerful existence treating us the same way... shame that we have to get rid of them in such a inhumane way and yet call ourselves humans...

Not only in India bt in every country it should be made illegal.Dogs hv been d most honest and loyal pet. It cn really be your true family part if you take them as part of ur family.nothing i can say more than this.Otherwise you eat ur family members only...We should save all the dogs.

If a dog killed a human it would be put to death. Why shouldn't the same go for a human that kills a dog?
