Support Professional Minor League Baseball in San Rafael, CA

We're here to support professional minor league baseball in San Rafael.

Minor League Baseball is a time-honored tradition.  It is fun, affordable, family-friendly, community-oriented sports entertainment.  Fans come for the atmosphere and the sometimes-wacky entertainment, and the players play for the love of the game.

Centerfield Partners want to bring professional independent minor league baseball to San Rafael, CA, starting with the 2012 Season.  They would play 45 games at existing, historic, Albert Field between May and September every year as part of the North American Baseball League, an 8-year old California-based independent minor league.

Let's show the City Council that this is a great idea and worthy of their support! Please fill in the petition at right -- and make sure to click "Send Now" TWICE (once to submit, once to confirm on next page)!  Thank you!
We the undersigned support Centerfield Partners' proposal to bring professional independent minor league baseball to Albert Field in San Rafael.

Minor league baseball is a time honored tradition, and would bring a fun, affordable, family-friendly entertainment option to San Rafael.  It would provide an economic boost to the San Rafael community, not only with direct employment, but by attracting tens of thousands of people over the course of a summer to downtown San Rafael.

Baseball parks were made to have baseball played in them, and we respectfully ask that you support this proposal to allow professional minor league baseball at Albert Field.

Thank you for your time.

Respectfully yours,
