Legalize Cannabis for Industry, Health and Recreation

Call them and email them and ask for them to legalize industrial hemp to help our nation create jobs and lead the world in a green revolution. As it currently stands the production of hemp in most states in illegal. Ask your congress person to abolish silly laws that do nothing but limit competition and innovation. Industrial hemp can be used to make nearly everything we use in society on a day to day basis, and hemp production actually leave a positive carbon footprint -- so it's better than renewable.
Call them and ask for the allownace of all persons requiring Cannabis for medical purposes to be granted the full use of the plant, in whatever form best suits the individual. There are tens of thousands of patients that suffer each year more from anti-drug laws than from what those laws claim to prevent. In fact, lots of evidence suggests that Cannabis can be good for human consumption and may actually help in the regeneration of cells and perhaps the prevention of disease.
Finally the fun part. If you're still reading you're either stoned or genuinely interested ... mutually exclusive of course. Call your congress person and ask for them to legalize to sale and consumption of Cannabis for recreational purposes. The tax revenue would be good for the state. The regulation of it would likely increase production and quality while driving down the price. It would be harder for our young people to get than it currently is; most youth will admit it is easier to get illegal drugs than legal ones such as alcohol and tobacco.
