"The Riches", a brilliant show that demonstrates T.V. can be art, not just furniture, stands out in this reality driven mainstream. Sadly, due to the inaccurate numbers game, the second season could be cut to only seven episodes and a third season never seen.
"The Riches", a brilliant show that demonstrates T.V. can be art, not just furniture, stands out in this reality driven mainstream. Sadly, due to the inaccurate numbers game, the second season could be cut to only seven episodes and a third season never seen.
We the undersigned recognize that show business is just that, a business, but also realize that numbers are often an inaccurate reflection of a show's fanbase and more importantly, it's potential. We believe any lack of enthusiasm for "The Riches" is an issue of slack promotion and a late time slot, not of the abscence of talent or riveting writing. Thusly, "The Riches" should be given more support, more promotion, and more time to show the beautiful potential of the story- namely, a full second season and at least the beginnings of a third. We believe you'll find that the charm of the Malloys, their supporting characters, and the plot will capture the eye of many more and maintain the already large fanbase it has, if given the opportunity.

Please bring this show back for another season!!! I can't remember the last time I had been literally addicted to a television show before this began airing. The writing and acting is truly brilliant! I have been anticipating the third season all summer, and I'm not one to care much about particular series. If this gets canceled, especially in the middle of a plot arc like this, I am completely willing to discontinue watching FX completely, and I was somewhat looking forward to the new season of "Always Sunny" but that I can catch or miss. "The Riches," however, would make me drop whatever I was doing for an hour every week because I not only needed to see the next episode, but it is so intricate and great that I felt the need to devote all of my attention to it or I may miss something that is really worth seeing. If the network keeps this show alive it would be doing a very smart thing. This is a show that needs to be on right now, not only because it provides a very fulfilling experience but because there are people in this country at this moment that really need to see media like this; television that truly has something to say, like a visual interpretation of a good novel. While films must cut books as they are adapted, series can be a visual way to make sure that there is time to devote to every nuance and every point that the wonderful writers have to make, that is what makes this show equivalent to a very good novel. Please do not take such an relevant and intelligent piece of work away from the too often intellectually void abyss that is television. Thank you for your consideration, M

I got into the first season of the show on www.hulu.com. The second season wasn't available so I purchased it on itunes. When I looked up "the Riches" on the FX site it said in the opening window that it aired on Tuesdays at 10pm. I subscribed to digital cable yesterday and am more disappointed in The Riches not being on than any other channel program. I would very much like to see more of The Riches as season two ended kind of abruptly and open ended. This is one of the best shows I have seen in a while, and had the show had more publicity and was available to buy or rent in mainstream movie rental stores or stores like Target a lot more people would know about it. We knew nothing about the show and only watched the pilot because my boyfriend is a fan of Eddie Izzard's and I've always liked Minnie Driver. After the pilot we were hooked and watched both seasons in one weekend. IT'S A GREAT SHOW... PLEASE COME BACK FOR SEASON THREE!!! :)

The characters in the Riches are playing out a moral predicament we can all identify with, namely how to survive within or below the confines of the law. I have an investment in these people and it would be cruel and unusual punishment to take them away "while I was watching that!!!" Please, please, please renew the Riches for a third season... and please consider many more seasons to come because this is a story with characters that touch our hearts... and can support your bottom line too. Thanks for your consideration and keep it coming. A long time Izzard fan :)

Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver are superb in this show. I haven't seen a show like this come on the air since The Sopranos did in 1999. I am urging the people at the Fox/FX Network to keep this show around for at least another/3rd season! People are buzzing about it and you'd be doing yourselves a huge disservice by not giving it another season!
