PLEASE ONLY SIGN THIS PETITION IF YOU LIVE IN THE UK! THANK YOU!
In the USA, vegans can happily snack on Oreo biscuits as they don't contain any animal products (no dairy!) but in UK they are made with a different recipe which contains dried whey (from milk).
We ask that Kraft Foods Ltd. (Nabisco) change the UK Oreo's to the American recipe and, by doing this, they'll be opening up the market to the 250,000 vegans in the UK plus the 5% of the UK population who suffer from lactose intolerance.

Thank you for taking the time to listen to us, your future customers.

I have now received a reply from Kraft foods:
"Thank you for your letter and signed petition in which you requested that Oreo biscuits in the UK are made to a recipe that would make them suitable for a vegan diet, as the whey-free U.S. version are.
Kraft Food's European Research and Development team are currently considering the possibility of amending the European recipe and are optimistic that it will be acceptable for a vegan diet within the next 12-18 months.
Kraft Foods is committed to continually improving its recipes, such that they are appealing and acceptable to a wide range of consumers as possible and therefore always welcome feedback from people such as yourself."
I feel this is a very sucessful outcome so a HUGE thank you again for your support, especially if you sent an individual letter to Kraft Foods too.
