As of today if a Veteran in South Texas, Young or Old,  needs a surgery or needs to see a specialist they must travel 5 hours North to San Antonio, Tx at there own expense.  Only so much can be done at the VA outpatient clinic in McAllen Tx, where Veterans from WWII to the present must compete for treatment.  Not only is this wrong but it is unjust and cruel.

We the undersigned, believe that there is not enough being done to bring a much needed VA Hospital to the Rio Grande Valley.

This issue has come to your attention and has been brought up many times by Congressman Ruben Hinojosa but for some reason You do not want to pass legislation to help the Rio Grande Valley and it's Veterans. We hope that these petitions make a difference.  If not we will organize and march on Capitol Hill and the whole country will know that you have forgotten these Veterans.
