Greentongues for Vegan Cheez at TraderJoe's

Greetings,

I spoke with a representative in a connecticut branch in the late spring seeking Daiya cheese, or FYH Vegan Gourmet Cheese at your locations. He advised that while 'the consciousness is growing'  the cheeses you have stocked are soy-based with casein in them.

I asked him if a letter drive requesting the Daiya and FYH Vegan cheeses would inspire Trader Joe's to stock them. He said at least 1000 signatures would have to appear for worldwide stocking, because you don't stock items location by location.

While we continued talking, a passing Vegan excitedly said ' Daiya! Yes!', overhearing a bit of our conversation. I looked to your representative, and reiterated that there is definitely a demand for Vegan cheese.

1000 signatures sounds a very achievable avenue towards the goal of Vegans to easefully locate quality products at stores they frequently shop in, or would frequent if their needs would be met there.

The signees of this petition including myself, are writing to request the availability of Follow Your Heart-Vegan Gourmet Monterey Jack Cheese, Daiya Cheese, and condiments like Vegenaise. These are products we would return to purchase regularly, that we're surprised to find aren't stocked in your locations. We're relieved to see the raising awareness of Vegan products that don't contain trace amounts of dairy (such as the rennet in non-Vegan soy cheeses), spreading to markets and pizzerias on the East and West Coast, and look forward to increased availability in our neighborhoods of the staples we've currently shopped for online until recently. We love Trader Joe's, and hope to be able to purchase these products in your locations soon.

We would be glad to answer any questions, or participate in surveys regarding your placement of Vegan non-dairy solutions, as it assists in increasing availability of Vegan products.

Thankyou for your time and consideration
