A REFUGE FOR ABANDONED PETS

• I Belong to a Protective Society of Animals . We are 20 people hosting abandoned and battered pets in our houses as we do not have a Refuge. Saddily Spain is the First Country in Europe abandoning Pets and Canary Islands is the 2d Community  We don not have either material or economical resources to have a Refuge, only donations from volunteers, members and friends to support our Job. We would like to spread this message everywhere to get signatures for our local politicians make it possible:" To make our Dream true, The Pet?s Dream also. I believe, signatures is one of the most useful pacific tools, with the aid of Media, to achieve many goals. 
• A Pet Ambulance s driver has also a wonderful proyect: " A Rural Hostel for Pets to employ mental disable people. There would be also an Ecological Home Garden and a shop for pets. I do believe it is a very special and new proyect , but ideas are not enough to reach our aim. We do need support!
• There is a wonderful therapist proyect in Elda (Elche, Spain), A female Elephant of 36 years old helps children with Down Syndrome  and other mental disorders.
• In Mexico , a Pets Center called: "Pets Miracles" there is also  proyect where people with Down Syndrome, elders, people with cancer are helping sick abandoned pets coming from terrible dramas and suffering.
• Sometimes, even when One thinks suffering is too much and there is no light at the end of the tunnel, miracle is possible. Let repite it all over the world
• Yearly more than 100.000 PETS are abandoned in Spain. More than  7000 are sacrified. We want Law to be respected, we want to stop the sacrifice of pets in many Dog Pounds. We ask for stopping the street vendors and control this practice, making them observe the Law. Say No to selling Pets and others Animals in Shopping Centers.
• We also would like to introduce an Educative Proyect related to Animals at School.
• This is only a Summary about our "Multi Matters Proyect" :
• 1.- Focus on Education at School
• 2.-On Recreational Area where Positive Interaction among People and Animals could be possible
• 3.-Medical Proyect either at Daily Centers, Prisons or Hospitals
• A proyect that makes possible an Dinamic Exchange among People and Nature through Animals
• I like to call it like the "4 paws Angels Proyect" because I feel them like special and tender Angels.
• Therapy is another goal of this proyect as we have dog trainers , veterinaries to help us .
  But we do need help either from Particulars, Enterprises and mainly from Authorities and Local Government. This proyect could also be yours! The Pet?s Proyect around the World, without frontiers!
• I hope , someday, Everyone who loves and care Animals and Nature could join their efforts to work in the same direction. Pets and Animals deserve it!
  I believe if everyone who loves Animals could walk on the same Path, we all over the World will speak with one voice and could reach a unique Aim, no matter where you live, where you work, but defending Animal?s Rights to force, somehow, our Governments to create a space of Respect, Freedom and Love for them. The Space they?ve lost since Human Beings have become , in a wrong way, the "Owners of this Planet, that belongs to everyone on it: plants, minerals, animals. All of them deserve dignity and love! As we all sign against War, Gobal Warming, Poverty, why don?t we try to join our Efforts and Voices against Cruelty and Abandoning to stop this terrible drama everywhere?

  At the beginning I thought 2000 signatures could be enough, but Reality often tell us that sometimes, thousands of signatures make the difference to start a proyect , and I do not want either to waste or loose the value of each signature to reach the aim. Each of them is a valuable step to make our Pets happy and safe. We are now 20 people collecting signatures in Las Palmas but this web site, Petitionsite,  is also as important as our daily job in the City.

• The Message is the most important thing : They are the messages: their suffering and isolation, their fear !
  Signatures only need one minute of your time ,and can save many pets from the streets, from fraffic accidents, and from many others daily dramas they are exposed to live.

  Pets and Nature give us a unique oportunity to look inside us, ,to see ourselves in a natural and clear way, to be the child we really are, to enjoy life in an spontaneus way, as they do. They are always in us, as Mother Earth and its creatures are. Let`s protect them !
  If one of them Suffer, I do too. We all interact and inter are, we are not separate entities living apart from Nature and Fauna. The day we understand it, the day life will be happy and full of harmony and joy.
  Open the door of your Heart and give all of them an opportunity to be free, to share with you the Great Treasure of their presence.
  My proyect is yours also. It could be an Universal way and language to start a new Path to be together withour harm and fear.
