Please sign this petition to show your support of demanding that the El Dorado County agencies take action against a slumlord in Pollock Pines, California. I have have been descriminated against by the county sherriffs office because my landlord (slumlord) is 71 years old and they will not arrest or even site her for the crimes she has committed stating she is "just a little old lady". I call this age descrimination against myself being 42 years old. This landlord has harrassed me non-stop for the past four months. I am current on my rent and utilities because all are included in my rent per my rental agreement. She has turned off all my utilities including my propane which is the only source of heat to my apartment. She has locked the back door so that it cannot be used and has removed the steps to my front door, there are no smoke detectors, all of which is dangerous. She is constantly calling me names, throwing things at my wall and vandalizing my vehicle as well as my personal belonging outside my apartment. She has now served me with an eviction, I have tried to pay her rent for this month on three occasions and she refused to take it. I have reported her to the El Dorado County Sherriffs office for each of the violations above and they have not responded. I am hoping this petition will bring awareness to the community and the county offices to take action and stop this woman from being able to continue her harrassment and crimes. One last note, she has done this to at least 12 previous tennants in the past 14 months. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for signing, together hopefully we can make a change.
