The following named residents of Armed Forces Retirement Home strongly oppose the taking of AFRH land to create a Public Park for DC

AFRH was bought with the blood of American soldier's and should only be disposed of if agreed to by a majority of AFRH residents via a physical vote. This has not been the past case to our detriment.

Anything that should spoil the view and/or limit resident access to any area of the campus should be prohibited. However! If it be for the benefit of the residents of the campus and an substantial amount of monies,[ie Billions/Multi Millions to preserve residents], then it, under vote, be allowed. If it is to dsallow my view of the Capitol then I am against it.

This land was bought and paid for by the blood of the American soldiers of the Mexican American war.

We have so many injured vets now that it is high time to take care of those that went to war for our country. Leave this area for their enjoyment.
