You, the political leaders of the United States of America, have made it very clear that you have no interest in the welfare of the American people. The cap and trade bill is a ridiculous piece of legislation, written without the environment at the real core of it.
You promised less-to-no earmark projects, yet you have packed this bill with it. You take hidden incentives for your special projects in exchange for your signature on a destructive piece of legislation.
We do not want government power over the private ownership of energy.
We do not want control over the products we use.
We do not want more jobs lost to forward your personal agendas.
We do not want to diminish the middle class.
We do not want our small businesses, the heart of America, destroyed.
We do not want more taxes.
We do not want trillions of more debt passed down to our children.
We do not want you to further the financial crisis in the name of "science" (incomplete, disproven science)

This is the most hideous bill that has ever been written. It is the worst thing that could be placed upon the American People with no benefit for America. You would think the Chinese wrote it for us. God controls the climate not humans. And this is just a huge tax placed on us to take away our jobs and then give the rest of the U.S. to foreign nations. We need to take care of OUR HOMELAND first and foremost. Who ever votes for this should be voted out of office and ran out of the United States and forced to live in China.
