against law projects on community landshare

The theme of the interview is the Community Landtrust that has been developed in the communities surrounding an estuary in San Juan, Puerto Rico. These are poor communities, but they are centralized inside the San Juan Metropolitan area. The problem is that the government had already given us our land, but now they saw its economic value and they want it back. We are battling against these law%uFEFF projects presented by the government, in order to preserve our communities and prevent gentrification.Barrio tv 605 Caño Martin Peña seg 2 de 2<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/bFb2OzKAjak&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/bFb2OzKAjak&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
architecture for humanityWe the undersigned need to know that you know:1...What exactly is it that the government want to maximise economically?%uFEFF2..If communities are self sufficient with regards to economic stability then of course government intervention is wrong.  However, if improvement is required, after at first including and empowering San Juan landshare communities focus groups, then a) could the wants of the government be tweaked to work for the%uFEFF estuary communities? b) What are the main issues affecting these communities, and for ideas on how solutions might become 'designing out challenges', such as is the notion of Architecture For Humanity, based in San Franisco; how have other communities globally dealt with such issues effectively? The 'battle' might well be more productive if channelled for sustainable progress, rather than soldiers 'in it' for the ratings.3..Lets hope this%uFEFF video reaches far and wide for awareness, but equally as important, if not more, is channelled focus and establishment of supporters to petition the government to outline fair, sustainable intervention with full interinvolvement of human rights through diversity advocacy.
In the meantime, lets concentrate on a globally available petition against human rights abuses that are affecting the poor of San Juan s estuary s landshare communities.
